The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has issued an unconditional approval for the acquisition of control over Emperia Holding S.A. by MAXIMA GRUPĖ.
Pursuant to an investment agreement executed on 23 November 2017, the investor announced a tender offer for 100% of Emperia’s shares, on the condition that approval of concentration is obtained from the UOKiK.
The approval of concentration fulfils the final condition in the announced tender offer, except for the condition to reach the threshold for a minimum number of shares in the tender offer entitling to 66% of the Company’s voting rights.
