STOKROTKA NAMED AS THE 2013 SERVICE QUALITY STAR

The Stokrotka supermarket chain was named the 2013 Service Quality Star in the 6th edition of the Polish Service Quality Programme and was included in the elite group of the 100 Friendliest Companies in Poland.

The award is given to companies that place customer service as their top priority and is testimony to the effectiveness of corporate standards and management.

The Polish Service Quality Programme has been carrying out a rolling 365-day study, aimed at improving service quality at Polish companies and engaging in dialogue with consumers, for six years. The multiplatform jakoscobslugi.pl includes the PCSI (Polish Customer Satisfaction Index), which measures customer satisfaction.

A 3.5 million-member jury - this is how many unique consumers are registered at the jakosobslugi.pl platform - decided which of the 25 000 companies present on the research website, covering 200 industries, would receive the Service Quality Star.

The 2013 Service Quality Stars belong to the list of 100 Friendliest Companies in Poland, from different industries. They have high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Indicator) compared to the competition, as well as comparing with the PSCI (Polish Customer Satisfaction Index). As research shows, these companies are perceived by consumers as highly recommended, trustworthy, with personnel that are always pleasant, cheerful and willing to assist and share their know-how with the customers.

Stokrotka Sp. z o.o. is a company with Polish capital and rich traditions in Polish retail. It is part of Emperia Group. Founded in Lublin in 1994, the company operates throughout the country. The first Stokrotka supermarket was founded in Łęczna near Lublin in 1996. The chain currently consists of 201 stores.

Stokrotka's typical sales area is 400 - 800 sqm, depending on the market's needs and conditions, however the chain also includes profitable locations that are either smaller or bigger than this. The in-house logistics system is a significant element of the new strategy. The system is set to launch in its entirety in July 2013.
