The Emperia Trading Group was placed on the 2008 Public Companies prestigious ranking list compiled by Puls Biznesu
Emperia was awarded top place among all the FMCG sector nominee companies.
“It is a great mark of distinction for us which at the same time confirms that our strategy of market consolidation and continuous organic growth is well received. We will also continue the wholesale and retail business rationalisation processes to further strengthen the Emperia Trading Group as the leader of the Polish FMCG Market,” said Artur Kawa, Chairman of Management Board, Emperia Holding S.A..
Emperia was placed 34th. The Public Company of the Year was selected by analysts, stock exchange market specialists, stock brokers, and investment advisors. The pool of entrants included all the companies listed on the Stock Exchange in Warsaw. The 374 listed companies were evaluated for: development prospects and past year’s success in the broad sense, skills of the management, quality of the products and services offered, “buy” recommendation for the company’s stock, investor relations, and effects of change in the management board.
